Are you passionate about inspiring young people? Do you want to play a key role in developing Squirrel Scouting across the county?
We’re looking for an County Squirrel Lead to support and grow Squirrel provision, helping more 4–6 year olds start their Scouting adventure.
About the Role
As Squirrel Lead, you’ll:
• Champion Squirrel Scouting across the county
• Support and mentor Section Teams and Group Leadership Teams
• Help open new Squirrel Dreys
• Share ideas, resources, and best practice
• Work with District teams to ensure a great programme and experience, both at County and District Level
• Promote inclusivity, fun, and adventure for our youngest members
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be an expert — just enthusiastic and motivated. We’d love to hear from you if you are:
• Passionate about early years Scouting
• A confident communicator and team player
• Encouraging, supportive, and organised
• Interested in helping volunteers succeed
• Have good organisation skills
• Committed to providing amazing experiences for young people
