West Yorkshire Scouts Attend the City of Culture Programme Launch
Last night was a remarkable evening for Bradford, as the City of Culture 2025 programme was officially launched at the historic St George’s Hall. Our very own West Yorkshire Scouts Youth Commissioner proudly attended the event, marking a significant moment in the city’s cultural journey.
The event, which drew a diverse crowd from across the region, was also featured on The One Show, bringing national attention to Bradford’s dynamic cultural scene. As the programme was unveiled, attendees were treated to a showcase of local talent, creative performances, and inspiring speeches that highlighted the city’s rich cultural heritage and its bright future.
Our Youth Commissioner, representing the West Yorkshire Scouts, was thrilled to witness this celebration of community and culture. The launch aligned with our values of inclusivity, creativity, and community spirit, offering inspiration for how young people can engage with the arts and contribute to Bradford’s evolving cultural landscape.
The City of Culture 2025 programme promises an exciting array of events and activities over the coming months, providing our scouts with numerous opportunities to get involved, learn, and grow. We look forward to participating in these cultural experiences and supporting Bradford as it takes center stage on the national cultural map.
