County AGM Calling Notice

The County Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Thursday 10th September at Bradley Wood Campsite (7:15 for a 7:30 start).

Open Nomination Process

In line with Scouts’ Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR), the nomination process is open and transparent, and any eligible member may put forward a nomination. This ensures a fair and inclusive process, giving everyone the opportunity to be considered.  After receipt the Trustee Board will consider the applications and may reach out for further info in which to make an informed recommendation to Council of the best candidate to fill the role.

Nominations Now Open

Nominations are now invited for:

  • Adult Trustee position (over 18)
  • Adult Representative to the HQ Scout Council (Over 18)
  • Youth Representative to the HQ Scout Council (Aged 18-25)

All positions are for a fixed term of three years.

Please note that nominees for the Trustee position must meet the legal eligibility requirements set out by the Charity Commission.

To apply, please complete the relevant nomination form and return it to Countysec@wyscouts.org.uk by 31st May.

All nominations must be:

  • Proposed and seconded by a member of the County Scout Council
    (e.g. County Team members, District Lead Volunteers, District Representatives to Council, District Chairs, District Treasurers, District Youth Leads, GLVs etc.)
