Cubs will complete four bases, each lasting about an hour.
These will usually be sailing, Bellboating, rafting and water safety; although this may be changed depending upon the weather.
The Nautical Skills Stage 2 badge will be covered and included. The day will also qualify for a Time on the Water badge.
We start at 10.30 am and finish at 3.45 pm.
How much will it cost? £22.00 per Cub which includes the badge.
All Cubs must be able to swim 50 metres and be confident in the water. (These are the Scout Association rules to take part in water activities.)
Group Bookings: Due the popularity of the Cub Days, a booking enquiry will be pencilled in and held for 4 weeks. The group booking form should be completed by the leader and sent to bookings@greenwithens.org.uk to confirm the number of Cubs participating, within the four weeks. This form should contain a list of Cubs from the group who wish to attend, which will confirm the number of places reserved.
Full payment for the booking should be made at least six weeks before the date booked.
